A new app icon, and a wink you’ll actually see.

Our new brand came with a new hand, and the hand winks. Two things got in the way of people seeing it: an app icon that blended into the home screen, and a loading screen that disappeared before the wink began. This update fixes both.

Lime, so you can find us

The first icon was a white hand on Forest. On a phone full of dark icons it was easy to miss. Lime is our spark colour, the one we save for the good bits, so it made sense for the thing you tap to start a trip.

A wink that doesn’t get skipped

The loader used to wait about seven-tenths of a second before winking. Pages often loaded faster than that, so most people never saw it.

Now the wink comes first, lasts a little longer, and the loader stays up just long enough to finish it. When a page opens, the logo waits until the page has settled before it winks.

When you’ll see it

Both changes arrive in the next version of the Thrillark app on iOS. Android is coming soon.
